The annual New Year’s Day Pirate Plunge is coming to the Sands Beach in Port Royal on Thursday, January 1st.
The event, sponsored in part by the folks at ShellRing Ale Works, is open to everyone…and you don’t have to dress like a pirate if you don’t want to.
The festivities start at 3:30pm on New Years Day with the plunge into the water coming shortly thereafter. 
The cost to take the plunge is a donation of $20 for adults & $10 for children 21 and under that goes directly to CAPA.
Prizes will be awarded at the event including the best dressed pirate and everyone who takes part in the plunge will get a free beer at ShellRing after the event.
